Who We Are
This podcast was founded by Jaansi and Sunay Patel. We were 12 years old and 6 years old, respectively, when we began this nonprofit initiative over 5 years ago! We are passionate about all things medicine, science, and technology. Our inspiration was when we were trying to explore content in these fields but many resources that were not accessible for kids or beginners at any age, for that matter. Thus, LearnOn was born, and our mission is to break down the technical jargon our interests in so that education is more accessible. We are committed to delivering quality content about new discoveries and issues in the STEM world, as well as possible solutions. It is 100% kid friendly, making it perfect to listen to as a family, but anyone is welcome to join us!

We are currently on the 6th season of our podcast! This one is all about medical innovation, and we are joined by high-profile guests including executive leaders of Fortune 500 companies, Nobel Laureates, TIME100 Health honorees, Forbes 30 Under 30 members, founders of technology startups, renowned physicians, and trailblazers in fields including neuroscience, psychology, and medical technology. Our goal is to spotlight different aspects of healthcare, research, and industry as technology allows us to create new medical tools at an unprecedented rate. Previous seasons have covered topics including digital health, mindfulness, different aspects of the mind-body connection, and interesting scientific discoveries.

Most recently, we were very excited to be named in Feedspot’s list of top 10 science podcasts for kids!
